The US team, who just arrived at Frederikshavn with 11 players (and a single goalie) did suprisingly well against Norway. Though they never lead in the match and even trailed 0:3 after eight minutes, they alway managed to come back in the game and put Norway under pressure. Finally, Norway won in 11:7 in a tight A-division match.
