Switzerland played their role as a definite favourite very well. Latvia fought very much and were able to avoid the Swiss from scoring goals in the first 17 minutes, but afterwards, their defense broke more and more. A complete useless sportive competition took place though Latvia has to be named a possible semifinal team.
