Due to the Eurovision Song Contest, I just had a brief view on my country's team first match. Germany struggled slightly with Canada, who really played enjoyable in the first period of their first ever World Cup match. A bit luckily, Germany took the first break two-goal lead after two late goals. Finally, several power play situations made Germany steadily increase the lead and take home a double-digit victory.
