After Hungary surprisingly beat Slovenia the day before, they now faced the favourites from Estonia in the B-finals to be relegated into A-Group 2008. Estonia put Hungary under pressure from the very first minute and early lead by three. In second period, Hungary slightly improved, but was still too weak to come back in the game. An incredible Rein Kivi scoring five goals and two assists could never be stopped by the South-Eastern Europeans, who lost their spirit slightly in the final period and thus had to stand a double-digit loss. Estonia, the best team in group B, was definitely the deserved winner of the B-pool.
