The two semifinals showed very different matchups: while Swedish Nacka HI controlled the match in very offensive and attractive semifinal against Budweis team FBC United (CZE) (final score 4:2), there was no goal in regular match time in the very defensely-orientated game between the Dutch teams De Watergeuzen and Doing SV Zoetermeer. De Watergeuzen finally advanced to the finals after penalty shots.
