Szolnok started quite weak into the women's final. They played very static and gave Phoenix too easy chances to take the lead in the first period - finally the capital city girls scored five times and just disappointed by being too much endangered for the good, but too few Szolnok attacks. The match was much closer in the second period, but Phoenix never lost the control over it. Even in third period, in which two Aniko Vago goals meant the intermediate 6:8 close-up, Phoenix soon came back into the match and absolutely deserved to win 9:6.
