Two weeks after Weißenfels defeated Leipzig on the road, it was time for the "Unihockey-Löwen" to strike back in the playoff battle and to make the series to be decided in three matches.
After a nervous start, both teams played with more body contact. The match was very even-strengthed, but Leipzig caught their first goal by giving Weißenfels a two-man-advance power-play. In second half, Leipzig managed to tie the score, but acted too nervous to really get back in the match. They seemed to have a chance for a comeback in third half, when they scored the 3:2 goal, but Weißenfels controlled the match, scored the 4:2 goal. At the end of the match, the ball crashed in the net three more times.
Weißenfels took all the chances they got whereas Leipzig was again too nervous. Because of that, the UHC was the correct winner of that match and the series.
