One of the most traditional multi-event meetings in track and field was held in Ratingen at June, 24th and 25th, 2006. There were quite few international athletes, but therefor many German starters, who needed to qualify for the European Championships in Gothenburg and the Under 23-World Cup in Beijing. After day 1, two Ukranian athletes lead in front of German Karin Ertl.
