The first half of this final matchday match started with two goals: Wolfenbüttel took the lead in the 10th minute, but Brauweiler tied the score. Both teams played quite well. A nice attack in the 37th minute made Brauweiler lead - undoubtedly a bit lucky.
In the second half, Wolfenbüttel played very strong. In the 60th minute, they were already in the lead (3-2). The guests tried to increase the pressure on the opponent, but failed in doing this and therefore gave the Lower Saxony team several fast break opportunities, which lead to two more goals in the 75th and 90th minute.
