Group A of the FVM Indoor Soccer Finals was dominated by Regionalliga teams VfL Kommern and the hosting RW Meckenheim-Merl, who finally went into the semifinals as first placed teams. The other teams, Uevekhoven, Heimersdorf and Endenich, had no chance to advance in this group.
