In their final match before the 2007 Women Soccer World Cup, Germany had a very bad first half with Norway dominating the first period. The hosts were very lucky that Melanie Behringer was able to intermediately tie the score in the 22th minute. In second half, Germany controlled the match and increased pressure on the Norwegian goal, but both teams had just a very few chances. Birgit Prinz scored the 2-2 tie in 75th to gain a slightly lucky score.
