On August, 12th, Brauweiler and Neuenahr met in Nideggen to prepare for the 2006/07 season. Neuenahr controlled the whole match, but both teams had just a very few chances in the match which was definitely too rough for a pre-season test match. Neuenahr scored one goal in each period and deserved to win the match.
