The Danish team, which was better in ball technique, but worse in tactical and athletical things, managed to close-up the score to one goal twice in the first period, but Halle could give an answer by scoring a goal themselves again.
After 31 minutes, the score was 6:2 for Halle. They dominated second period, though the Jaegerspris team had several dangerous attacks. When Halle scored the 7:2 goal after 22 seconds in the third period, the match seemed was decided, all the other goals just changed the scoreboard. Halle positively deserved this win, which was the only German one in this tournament.
