After being the dominating team of the tournament so far and beating Södertalje in the premilary round, Team Classic was the slight favourite for this game. But it was the Swedish team to score first after 89 seconds. In a great and fast match, Team Classic fought back, tied in the eighth and took the lead in the eleventh period. They got better and better and made two more ones shortly before the first period break.
There seemed to be a pre-decision when Classic got in a four-goal lead in the 31th minute, after the second period had started quite balanced. But Södertalje fought back, coming back to two goals behind until the second break. In the first ten minutes of the last period, Classic were slightly better, but then Södertalje started to try to come back in the match. As this was without success they took out their goalie on 56:30 time. Classic took that chance to score an empty-net-goal in the 58th minute.
Watching the whole tournament, Classic was the dominating team of the European Cup and deserved the victory. They did an impressing job playing the best ladies' floorball in Weißenfels and beating Södertalje twice.
